Davenport, Evans, Hurwitz & Smith, LLP welcomes three new attorneys -- Shane Eden, Vince Roche and Amanda Smith -- as associates of the firm.
Shane is starting in the firm's professional liability practice group. He is a May 2008 graduate of the University of South Dakota School of Law, where he served as Lead Articles Editor of the South Dakota Law Review. An Alcester native, Shane earned his bachelor's degree at South Dakota State University. He was a summer associate of the firm in 2007.
Amanda comes to the firm from Nebraska. She obtained her law degree from Creighton University in 2007 and worked for an Omaha law firm before moving to Sioux Falls. While in law school, she served as staff editor of the Creighton Law Review. Amanda will initially focus her practice on estate and gift planning and estate and trust administration. She will also practice general corporate law.
Vince joins the law firm's commercial litigation practice group after spending five years practicing law in Chicago. A Vermillion native, Vince is a 2000 graduate of Augustana College and received his law degree from the Unviersity of Virginia School of Law in 2003. He is also licensed in Illinois and has experience representing clients in arbitration and mediation matters arising out of commercial disputes.
