June 22, 2009

Tom Frankman was elected to the Board of Directors of the South Dakota Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) at the organization's annual meeting June 18.

Frankman, one of the firm's litigators, was elected the chapter's secretary-treasurer. ABOTA was founded in 1957 with the primary purpose of preserving the civil jury trial. It's goals include elevating the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession and aiding the education and training of trial lawyers.

Frankman, who joined DEHS in 1985, practices in the firm's general business and commercial and complex litigation areas, as well as insurance litigation.
