DEHS business lawyer Tiffany Miller is among 10 individuals named "promising Up and Comers" in Sioux Falls.
The selections were made by the Sioux Falls Business Journal to recognize rising business and civic leaders the publication believes "rank among the most deserving of public recognition." Tiffany was selected because of her "[s]trong work ethic in the law field and drive for community involvement."
Tiffany is on the steering committee of the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network. That group is being formed to "promote an overall investment in the future of the community" and to "engage and introduce young professionals to the region's resources and possibilities." Similarly, she is a member of Sioux Falls Up & Coming, a group of young professionals that emphasizes community involvement, business development and social networking. She also is on the board of directors for the Sioux Empire Safety Village, a nonprofit organization that provides safety education and training to Sioux Falls area children and adults.
Tiffany interned with the law firm in 2006 and joined it as an associate in 2007. Since then, she has focused in large part upon financial institution regulatory compliance and general corporate law. She received her bachelor's degree from South Dakota State University in 2004 and earned both her law degree and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota in 2007.
