Davenport Evans recently recognized its 2011 scholarship recipients. In its twenty-fourth consecutive year, the firm’s scholarship program recognizes students in surrounding counties through a scholarship to be used at an institution of higher learning in the State of South Dakota. This year the firm awarded eight scholarships totaling $20,000. The scholarships were awarded through the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, and the presentation program included remarks from Davenport Evans’ partner Mitch Peterson, a past scholarship recipient reception. Congratulations to each of the following recipients!
- TRAVIS BUSE, Lennox High School, who will be attending South Dakota School of Mines and Technology
- REBECCA ELSINGER, Brookings High School, will be attending South Dakota State University
- SPENSER FOSTER, Flandreau High School, will be attending South Dakota School of Mines and Technology
- EMILY McMAHON, West Central High School, will be attending South Dakota State University
- KATHRYN SCHWEBACH, O’Gorman High School, will be attending South Dakota State University
- ABBILENE SUDTELGTE, Elkton High School, will be attending South Dakota State University
- AUSTIN VANDER WAL, Sioux Valley High School, will be attending South Dakota State University
- SAMANTHA WAGNER, Roosevelt High School, will be attending South Dakota State University
