Eric Schulte, a partner at Davenport Evans, was recently presented the Volunteer Service Award by the Student Bar Association of The University of South Dakota School of Law for his tireless volunteer efforts on behalf of the law school. Eric was chosen for this well-deserved honor in recognition of his many years of mentoring and coaching the law school’s Trial Team, as well as his unfailing participation as a judge for the annual Sam Masten Moot Court Competition, Client Counseling competitions, and ADR Board Competitions. Eric’s generosity with his time and talents extends far beyond his service to the USD Law School. Eric also serves on the Advisory Board for the Banquet in Sioux Falls, is the State Bar Commissioner for the Second Judicial Circuit, and is a mentor and role model for many past and present associates at Davenport Evans. His selflessness is a true inspiration to those around him.
