Patrick Penney Named New Chief Operating Officer

Davenport, Evans, Hurwitz & Smith, LLP is pleased to announce that Patrick Penney recently joined the firm as chief operating officer. Penney, who has over three decades of experience in financial management of large public and private companies, will direct business operations for the law firm.

For the past 18 years, Penney has been a senior executive at Austad’s Golf, Inc. serving as vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer. He has held executive positions with several companies, including Henry Birks and Sons, Stride Rite, and General Mills.

Penney, a native of Sioux Falls, enjoys traveling and golf vacations. He and his wife Kathy enjoy spending time with their four adult children and six grandchildren. In addition to his professional work, he has served on boards for a variety of community, youth sports and charity organizations.
