Sarah Larson, a partner at Davenport, Evans, Hurwitz & Smith, LLP, recently concluded 18 years of volunteer service with the South Dakota Achieve board of directors.

Larson recently finished a nine-year term on South Dakota Achieve’s governing board. She previously served nine years on the organization’s foundation board. Larson also served as chair of each board.

South Dakota Achieve is an organization that assists people with developmental disabilities with a variety of services, including residential living, training and personal growth, employment preparedness, speech/language services, and medical and therapeutic services.

“I’m proud to be part of this organization’s mission: finding innovative ways for people with disabilities to achieve their dreams,” Larson said. “Everyone who is part of South Dakota Achieve knows and is committed to that mission.”

Larson, who joined Davenport Evans in 1980, is a member of the firm’s Corporation and Business, Employee Benefits, and Estate Planning and Probate and Trust Administration practice groups.

Davenport Evans, located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is one of South Dakota’s largest law firms, and its attorneys provide business and litigation counsel to individuals and corporate clients in a variety of practice areas.
