While medical malpractice defense has been a hallmark of the firm's practice for decades, the firm has also devoted substantial resources to developing and offering expertise in the health-care law field.

Among the firm's health-care clients is Sanford Health, the largest hospital in the region. The firm is also counsel to a number of hospitals across the region, as well as numerous physician practices and other health-care professionals. The firm has four attorneys who are members of the American Health Lawyers Association and have developed broad health-care law expertise on issues ranging from federal regulatory compliance to state tax exemption cases.
