David L. Knudson

Dave’s legal practice and experience are as wide-ranging as his interests. Dave assists clients in matters ranging from general corporate matters and corporate finance to tax law, banking and hospital law. Dave also serves as the head of the law firm’s Estate Planning and Trusts practice group.

Public service is a hallmark of Dave’s community activities. He was elected to the South Dakota Senate in 2002 and is now serving his third consecutive term in that body. He is the majority leader in the South Dakota Senate. He has also served on the boards of various community organizations, including the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, Sioux Falls Development Foundation, Sanford Health, and the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
