Jean H. Bender

Although Jean moved to “of counsel” status several years ago to spend more time with her children, she remains extremely active assisting clients with employee benefits issues and plans. As might be expected with that expertise, she also works in the employment law and general corporate areas, in addition to handling occasional health care law matters.

Perhaps consistent with the reasons that led her to move to of counsel status, Jean recently successfully ran for a seat on the Brandon Valley School Board. She also served on the board of directors for the Sioux Empire American Red Cross and is a member and former president of the board of directors for Volunteers of America.
