Keith A. Gauer

Keith focuses his practice on the representation of financial institutions. He regularly assists lenders in connection with foreclosures, loan workouts, and bankruptcy matters. He also counsels financial institutions with respect to payment systems issues, including the development of programs and resolution of disputes involving ACH, check clearing, remote deposit, and wire transfer services. In addition, Keith assists financial institutions by preparing national marketing and origination agreements in connection with credit card products, stored value cards, student loans, and other national products.

A Sioux Falls native, Keith’s outside activities focus on his local community and family. He is a member and former president of the board of directors of DakotAbilities, a non-profit agency that provides residential and vocational services to the developmentally disabled. In addition, his role as a father has led him to the coaching ranks for the local YMCA youth basketball program.
