Keith A. Gauer

Keith focuses his practice on the representation of financial institutions. He regularly assists lenders in connection with foreclosures, loan workouts, and bankruptcy matters. He also counsels financial institutions with respect to payment systems issues, including the development of programs and resolution of disputes involving ACH, check clearing, remote deposit, and wire transfer services. In addition, Keith assists financial institutions in the drafting and negotiation of agreements related to financial products, often on a national basis, including agreements relating to credit card products, prepaid cards, student loans, and other national products.

A Sioux Falls native, Keith’s outside activities focus on his local community and family. He is a current member of the Board of Directors of the Dakota Alliance Soccer Club, a non-profit corporation providing recreational and competitive soccer opportunities for local children. Additionally, his role as a father has led him to the coaching ranks for youth basketball and soccer programs.
